Gallery Composer is a small product from a small studio. Here is who we are and how to reach us.

Who makes it

Gallery Composer is made and operated by Suffuse, a web studio in Asheville, North Carolina. We build websites for artists, makers and small firms, and we built Gallery Composer because we kept needing it ourselves: a way to show work composed around the piece that matters most, never cropped, and easy for the people who made the work to keep up themselves.

What it is

A hosted service for composing galleries of images around text, embedding them on any website, building a whole site from them, and selling work through the seller’s own Stripe account. It runs at gallerycomposer.com.

First Anti-Enshittification Goal: 1,000 Paying Members

Our first target is 1,000 paying Gallery Composer members.

If the economics of the business are working the way we expect at that scale, our goal is to make the Core plan cheaper — not more expensive.

That isn't a promotional discount or a countdown gimmick. It's the principle we're building toward: as Gallery Composer becomes more efficient and successful, we want our members to share in the benefits of that scale.

1,000 members is our first checkpoint. Then we open the books, look at what scale has actually saved us, and see how much of it we can give back.

The fine print

Using Gallery Composer means agreeing to the terms of service; how we handle information is in the privacy policy. In short: your work stays yours; you are responsible for what you publish and sell; we do not host explicit, hateful, or political sites; payments for your sales go through your own Stripe account and we are not a party to them; and the service is provided as is, at your own risk, with no guarantee of any particular result.

Gallery Composer and its mark are names of Suffuse. Stripe, Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services, Google Fonts and other names mentioned on this site belong to their owners and are used only to describe the services we work with; no endorsement is implied.
